Here is what they said most attracted them to VVO:
I knew I wanted to stay in the optical industry and Valley Vision drew me in with its stunning interior, fun staff, and admirable mission.
I was attracted to Valley Vision as it offered an opportunity to learn how Optometry is practiced in Canada and because of all the great reviews I heard from other students that had gone through the rotation site.
I liked the way that the clinic is relationship/patient-focused, it feels less transactional and more about building rapport and getting to know our patients on a more personal level.
Many reasons! In no particular order, its in a great location, it's a great facility, a great team and after meeting Dr. Golemba I was impressed with his vision, personality, and method of doing business.

I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, so I love being close to the mountains, lakes, and ocean. I also worked with Valley Vision as a student intern in 2019. I really like how Valley Vision is on the cutting edge of optometry in many different facets of care. I can't wait to help as we strive to move both Valley Vision and the profession of Optometry forward.
I’ve been patient of Valley Vision for a few years and have loved my time there when I visit. I also want to make a difference in people’s lives. I love to help and bring positivity and a smile to people’s faces. How amazing would it feel to help a child or adult who struggles with their visual needs and help them see better? Helping them improve and feel better about themselves, is super rewarding and I love the fact that I can help in that. My involvement would be setting them up for success going forward and I love that about this position.
