Dr. Pezik earned his honors Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo, graduating with honors. He previously owned and operated a clinic in Wasaga Beach, Ontario—a small, vibrant community along Georgian Bay not far from the farm where he grew up.

Today, Dr. Pezik focuses on a modern, patient-centered approach through virtual care optometry. Based in Etobicoke, Ontario, he serves patients across both Ontario and British Columbia (including the Mainland and Vancouver Island) as a dual-licensed practitioner. His work centers on delivering comprehensive virtual eye exams, including ocular health assessments, while making care more accessible for patients in underserved and remote communities.

By connecting with patients on their time and in the way that works best for them, Dr. Pezik is able to provide high-quality care while supporting strong optical outcomes. His approach is focused on giving people what they truly need to see clearly, feel comfortable, and care for their eyes with confidence. His services include advanced retinal imaging, dry eye consultations, and coordination within an integrated referral network when in-person care is required.

Dr. Pezik is also committed to giving back. He has volunteered with the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program, providing vision screenings for athletes, and has participated in international mission work at the FISH Clinic in Kingston, Jamaica.

He is dedicated to caring for you and your family’s vision and eye health needs with compassion and expertise. Outside of practice, Dr. Pezik enjoys staying active through running, strength training, golf, surfing, and yoga. He shares his life with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Wednesday, who even enjoys skateboarding. Passionate about maintaining a balanced lifestyle, his favorite travel destination is Nosara, Costa Rica.
