Sherry keeps our frame styles current and fun and educates both staff and patients on the newest eyewear technology available. She also ensures the highest standards for the glasses that we offer to our patients. 

After completing her medical and dental assistant certification, Sherry pursued optometry and worked at a different optometric practice for twelve years. She is a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant,  a graduate of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Optical Sciences program, and has completed the National Alliance of Canadian Optician Regulators examination and requirements.

The values that drive Sherry are being a good role model for her children and being a productive and helpful member of her community. It only makes sense that what attracted her to Valley Vision Optometry  is the sense of community that we foster and the feeling that we are making a difference. The most inspiring part of her job is seeing patients in the low vision clinic that have been told that there is nothing else that can be done get their lives back.

When she was five, she was pretty sure she’d be a teacher when she grew up. In her spare time she can be found with her kids at soccer, ballet, or scouts or outdoors with her family.
