Dr. Morgan Jackson
Associate Optometrist
Dr. Jackson joined us in late 2021 as an associate optometrist. She graduated from the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry and Vision Science, where she served as President of the Waterloo sVOSH Chapter (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). As an associate optometrist, she evaluates visual systems and works to enhance the way you use your vision to interact with the world. She believes in good communication, mutual respect, equality, and kindness.
“I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, so I love being close to the mountains, lakes, and ocean. I also worked with Valley Vision as a student intern in 2019. I really like how Valley Vision is on the cutting edge of optometry in many different facets of care. I can’t wait to help as we strive to move both Valley Vision and the profession of Optometry forward.”
A self-proclaimed “total bookworm,” her favorite books are Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien and We Have Always Been Here by Samra Habib. She loves to cook, hike, camp, travel, spend time with her two big dogs and family, and enjoy craft beer and wine. In another life, she is pretty sure she was a very friendly dog.
