Low Vision

Dr. Golemba has been trained in the Richard Shuldiner, OD/William Feinbloom, OD Philosophy & Methods for Providing Low Vision Care™ and is an active member of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists. People from all over Canada come to Valley Vision Optometry in order to do the things that they love again.

If you find it hard to read a book, view scenery, or even watch television, chances are that your vision has been affected, and you need a professional to help you with that.

The most common condition that we help with is macular degeneration.

What Is Low Vision?

Valley Vision Optometry defines low vision as that which prevents someone from doing the things that they want to do.

Dr. Golemba works with the parts of the visual system that are still functional to match a pair of glasses or other device that enable you to do things like read, drive or watch tv again.

If you have low vision as it is described above, we offer a courtesy telephone consultation to determine if Dr. Golemba may be able to help you.
