BeyondSight Assessment

We use a dual laser ophthalmoscope for deep eye examination. Ocular Coherence Tomography ensures precise treatment for eye conditions like diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

  • Focus Assessment: Checking the clarity of vision and addressing any refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.
  • Binocularity Test: Evaluating how well the eyes work together as a team to ensure proper alignment, coordination, and depth perception.
  • 200-Degree Retinal Scan: Capturing a wide-angle view of the retina, which is crucial for detecting any abnormalities, signs of disease, or changes in the health of the eye.
  • Dry Eye Screening: Assessing the presence and severity of dry eye syndrome, a condition where the eyes do not produce enough quality tears.
  • Microscopic Examination of the Front of the Eye: Using a microscope to examine the structures at the front of the eye, including the cornea, lens, and iris.
  • Dual Laser Ophthalmoscope Scan of the Back of the Eye: Conducting a detailed exam of the back of the eye.

The Optos Monaco provides high-resolution retinal images that enable eye care professionals to assess the health of the eye more comprehensively.

  • The Monaco can capture a wide field of view of the retina, up to 200 degrees or more. As a result of wide-field imaging, various eye conditions can be detected and monitored with ease.
  • The device does not require pupil dilation (mydriasis) to capture images.
  • The Monaco is equipped with advanced imaging technology to provide high-resolution retinal images. This level of detail is valuable for diagnosing and monitoring retinal diseases and conditions.
