What is something that people in your role must deal with that you want to fix?

Amblyopia is a specific eye condition that I would like to reduce as much as possible in the community. Amblyopia is a developmental condition in which a child fails to learn to use both their eyes at the same time. It often occurs when a child needs glasses, but the need goes unnoticed. It can usually be treated with glasses or eye patches, but if amblyopia is left untreated during someone’s childhood, it can permanently reduce visual abilities. I am very passionate about it because it can be prevented with routine vision exams in children.
